Some very fond memories

I went through some pictures, and came across these – a wonderful time when Great Grandmaster Tae Yun Kim invited a few of us to come with her to do some special training.  I jumped at the opportunity!

For Great Grandmaster Tae Yun Kim, training is never limited by anything!  Not the size or location of a Jung Suwon Do Jang, or number of people, or what nature has to offer.  When it’s time for some Jung Suwon life training, Great Grandmaster Tae Yun Kim seizes the moment and teaching happens!

In these pictures you can see me and a couple of other Jung Suwon students work on forms in the snow.  Great Grandmaster Tae Yun Kim pointed out that in the Jung Suwon DoJang, it’s easy to maintain your balance, your awareness, your visualization.  The ground is even, the mats are soft, and the temperature is mostly great.  You wear your comfortable DoBok, and that’s all good, don’t get me wrong!

However, if you want to take your Jung Suwon training to the next level, it’s time to come on some training trips and experience all kinds of different outdoor situations.
